The last couple of days we've talked a little about how to discover things that make you tick. It's especially important when you've spent the last decade/decades on taking care of a family, a high-powered career, etc. Now is the time you deserve; a time to reflect and learn more about yourself.

Here is another list from my latest book, Uncover Your Story, Discover Your Life where I talk about how listing yourself, your likes/dislikes, things you're passionate about, causes that make your heart wrench, in order to learn what your future purpose might be.

These lists are especially important when you're considering writing your memoirs or an autobiography.

LIST YOUR CORE VALUES AND CAUSES

Ø  What provokes you?

Ø  What evokes strong emotions?

Ø  What are your core values? Your personal or professional ethics?

Ø  What ideals guide your decisions?

Ø  What concerns do you have about the world – what matters to you the most? The environment? Social justice? Poverty? Animal rights?

In conclusion, researching what you love to do, identifying your skills and talents, and integrating these aspects into your life story can be incredibly beneficial for personal growth and development.
